Oathill Farm was purchased in 2010 with a vision of developing it into a throughbred stud. Work began early in 2011 to convert the old cattle shed into a 13 box American barn to accommodate the horses. A horse walker and 2 poly surface turnout areas soon followed. Since then new fencing has been erected, stocks put in the barn and a lunge pen and incline treadmill have been purchased providing Elkington Stud with the modern facilities required to breed and produce quality throughbreds.
